We are interested in supervising doctoral research students and postdoctoral scientists in the following areas:
We work where immunology, infection prevention and drug discovery meet, using human liver tissue, Containment Level 3 pathogens and partnerships with industry.
Fully funded PhD: targeting viral RNA with supramolecular drugs
Design nano-sized compounds that bind viral RNA and stop viruses replicating, with training in chemistry and virology.

Liver immunology: enclysis, regulatory T cells and immune-mediated liver damage
Drug discovery: testing drug candidates in human liver tissue and organoids
Infection prevention: antivirals, antibodies, diagnostics and antimicrobial materials
